Mailadipara viewpoint Wayanad
A place to see Wayanad from above. For those who love trekking, the top of the hill offers a 360 degree view of the beautiful Kalpetta area. In December, when the snow is flying, there is no better place in Kalpetta to relax and enjoy the breeze. And a small pond filled with water in a rock pit. The Jain Temple, the footsteps of Lord Buddha, and the lush green climbing alleys ... those who have seen it once will surely come again. This destination located 2 Km walkable distance from the main road. It is a Medium trekking destination in Wayanad.
The morning view from this place is amazing,  standing in the middle misty hill is unexplanatory. Historic Mailadipara is known for its Budda footprint (Buddhapada in Sanskrit) and a Jain temple on the rock.
