Seethamma kundu waterfalls is located at Mundakkai town, about 4 km away from Churalamalai,6 km from Soochippara Water Falls, 15 km from Meppadi and 24 km from Kalpetta.
The etymological meaning of "Seethama" from Seetha.This place is believed to be the key places in the Hindu epic Ramayana. It is believed that when Seetha in the 14 years of the forest she was performed pooja at Seethamakundu.
The best month to visit:
April and May.
Best time to visit: 9.00 Am to 6 Pm.
Recommended: Family and Youngsters.
Not recommend : Old people and Handicapped.
Care: Rock is slippery and the first pond is very deep.

Bus - Local bus services are available for transportation between Meppadi to Chooralmala.
Autorickshaw - Autorickshaws are cheaper compared to taxis. You can hire an auto from Meppadi Town.
Taxi - Local taxis are also available at cheap rates. In Wayanad, the term taxi is mostly in reference to a Jeep style vehicle.
Car - Driving is pleasant as traffic is thin and disciplined unlike other parts of Kerala.
Walk - From Chooralmala Town to Walk 4kms to walk inside the jungle slop to reach Seethamakundu.

But the only thing is we need to walk through the slippery Stony path. No tickets, No security, No parking places... Be careful."
